Prufrock Author Joan Green Featured in 2E Newsletter

Let’s face it: iPads, iPhones, tablets, and other mobile devices are ubiquitous to today’s students, and fast becoming a popular learning tool in schools across the nation. However, for students with disabilities, these devices can become so much more than learning tools.

Prufrock author Joan Green explores this in her book The Ultimate Guide to Assistive Technology in Special Education, and a recent article about her in the 2E Newsletter dives deeper into her thoughts on how assistive technology, particularly apps, can provide much-needed support to twice-exceptional children.

The full article, which includes Green’s processes for finding apps, her favorite technology tools, and tips for finding professionals like Green in your area, can be accessed online at the 2E Newsletter website (which, by the way, is a great resource for parents and teachers of twice-exceptional children alike).

And, once you’ve read the article and want to know more, be sure and head to the Prufrock website, where we’re offering Green’s book at 40% off the cover price when purchased before March 1!
